Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

DivyaMakuta (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Divya Makuta Jewellery, a sole proprietorship based in India, at divyamakuta.com. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@divyamakuta.com.

2. Information We Collect

When you place an order or contact us, we collect the information you provide, including:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your shipping address
  • Any messages you send us via email or WhatsApp

Your shopping cart is stored locally in your browser, not on our servers, until you check out. We never collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details — all payments are processed directly by Razorpay under their own security standards.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfil your order
  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates by email and WhatsApp
  • To respond to your questions and support requests
  • To meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations

4. Who We Share It With

We share your information only where necessary to run our business and deliver your order:

  • Razorpay — to process your payment
  • Resend — to send order and account emails
  • Supabase — to securely store order data
  • Our courier partner — to deliver your order

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart between visits. We do not currently use tracking cookies or analytics. If that changes, we'll update this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain order and customer records for as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle returns, and meet our accounting and tax obligations under Indian law.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations) by emailing support@divyamakuta.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our business grows. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
